I’m Heather Downes, a Professional Organizer and Owner of Orderly. I help bring tranquility, order, and clever solutions into your home or office by focusing on your goals and the “hot spots” in your space that bring you stress, I work with you to find and implement the BEST solutions possible so that you can reclaim your home, time, and life.

I am a graduate of Granville High School and Otterbein College. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 15 years and we have 3 children and one ornery cat.

When I first got married, my husband was a 2nd Lt. in the Army. As a young military wife, I moved often and it was very easy to maintain an organized home. We didn’t have much in terms of items or space, and we never wanted to move more than we had to!

In 2012, my husband and I moved home to Granville and bought the house he grew up in. Over the past 10 years, we have added two more children to our family and an incredible amount of stuff! While quarantined at the beginning of the 2020 Pandemic, I began a ruthless simplifying project in my own home. I could not believe the amount of stuff that we had accumulated! As I began to declutter my home, my mind began to clear as well. I couldn’t believe how much stress I’d eliminated from my life in just a few projects. We went from it taking 2+ hours to pick-up our downstairs to it taking 20 minutes or less. Now I don’t stress when people pop over and it is a joy to host others again!

I enjoy helping people organize their spaces so their daily lives run more smoothly. It is my goal to help others feel the freedom that I now feel in my home. An orderly home makes way for a clear mind!
